At C&K Designs we have three different size motors currently available in several different versions. All our products are CNC machined to high tolerances and highly prefabricated. This allows easy home assembly with every day tools. All ready to run motors are fully individually tested before dispatch. All motors and kits are supplied with the new C&K Designs clamp mount tube. Our motors can be fitted and flown without any extra parts needed.

Understanding our codes: 2C or 3C denotes the intended lithium cell to be used, either 2cell or 3cell lithium. All our motors are aimed exclusively at lithium cells as this is definitely the future of model flying. The benefits of lithium power over NiCad and NiMh are lighter weight, smaller size and higher discharge rate. However our motors work equally well with the comparative Nicad or NiMh cells.

20, 22 or 40 denotes the weight of the finished motor in grams.

310 or 340 denotes the maximum static thrust power at nominal voltage of the finished motor in grams. DUAL is named because the motor is so diverse it can be used for most applications up to 700 grams thrust.
3D, high speed, park fly, slow fly and helicopter refer to their relevant applications.

2C-20-310 The original light weight shock flyer type motor designed for use with 2Cell lithium batteries.

3C-20-340 The original light weight shock flyer type motor in a 3cell lithium version.

3C-40-Park fly versions The same great design as the original shock flyer version. But slightly bigger and more powerful to suit park flyer models. But at 40 grams is lighter than some other manufactures indoor motors.

Available as:3C-40-High speed park fly Ready to run . Designed of use with 3cells. Aimed at models originally using speed 400 motors and 5x5 props. Has increased torque and speed to allow 6x5 and larger props resulting in much more static thrust and easier launch for such models. Supplied with clamp tube mount ready to fit.

Our 2C-20-310 is a powerhouse of a motor, look at the specs.
True Weight only 20 grams. Includes built in prop adapter. Optimized to run on a two cell 340mah lithium battery, currently the lightest most powerful, most popular cell around.

A massive 310 grams of thrust on only a 9x4.7 prop.
